WET, WILD, & WONDERFUL WATERCOLOR!
Tuesdays 10:00-12:30pm.

Have you been afraid of watercolor, thinking that it had to conform to specific rules? Inspired by artists such as Jeanne Carbonetti, (The Tao of Watercolor) and others, we are exploring watercolor techniques that are exciting and 'out of the box'. Class instruction may also include topics such as: composition, design, perspective, use of values, color theory, and lessons from the masters. This class is taught in a relaxed, and playful atmosphere.
Pastel Painting:
Mondays 6:30-9:00pm
Wednesdays 10:00am-12:30pm

Discover the joys of pastel painting, a vibrant medium that is versatile, expressive and easy to learn. Working from still life or photos, the class will experiment with different types of pastels, painting surfaces, applications and techniques to explore the wide range of the medium. Composition, design and color basics will be addressed through demonstration and instruction. Bring your own supplies; easels and tables provided.
Teen Art Studio: Mondays 4:00-5:30pm..
$25 per session
This ongoing, 'drop-in' open studio is geared to middle and high school students. The studio time is unstructured to allow students to create from the heart and imagination. Gentle guidance and technique instruction are provided. Participants will be encouraged to be creative and try new techniques. Most painting supplies included in price. Please call ahead to reserve a place (same day ok!) and verify session date. 973-543-0101
